Dr. Nancy Hadley is a doctoral-prepared, board-certified family nurse practitioner and emergency nurse practitioner. She received a bachelor’s and a master’s in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Alabama. Dr. Hadley has been a core faculty member in Walden’s MSN-FNP program since 2014 and has worked in emergency medicine for over 30 years. She has mentored NP students and doctoral students, as well as published on competency-based training for triage nursing.

Chris Dellinger is the 2024 president of the Emergency Nurses Association. Dellinger has spent three decades as an emergency nurse with experience in roles from the bedside to leadership. She is a strong advocate on issues of importance to emergency nurses, such as workplace violence and mental health, while also using her platform to encourage all ED nurses to “show up, step up, and shine.”
